CCNP Changes…

This was brought to my attention this morning:
..Guess I don’t have to worry about the routing portion of the CCNP. I’ll just do it anyway. Just for fun ![]()
Disclaimer: This is obviously an oversight on Cisco’s part. So please don’t go blaming me if you complete the 3 required tracks only to find out that you’re one short of attaining the CCNP. If you do, I’d just point my fingers at you and laugh.

I am not convinced. How can Cisco pull off the routing part? If it’s true, then it means that all my preparation efforts went in vain.
Let’s wait for an official news.

I guess it’s just a bug on the cert site. The preparation is not in vain, you have the knowledge and you will need it for CCIE even it it is no longer required for CCNP.

Guys like G said it must be a link missing issue (bug) their webmaster needs to fix
it. I am 100 % positive the BSCI is still on to complete your CCNP cert. It is a bug.
They need to fix it. Just keep watching this link and you will see it appear. It is my educated guess only. I am not 100 % cure but maybe I am 99 % sure.

The link is back, so we should also all go back to our study

It was just a matter of time before they would catch the mistake. For all intents and purposes, I think Cisco is slowly weaning folks away from the old Career and Certification page and to the newer and socially networky Cisco Learning Home Page. It’s probably all part of the Human Network campaign it’s been pushing of late.
