Gotta keep moving…

Posted by Aragoen Celtdra on 1st June 2008

Well.. I’ve been stuck on IPv6 for 4 days now. I just can’t seem to concentrate on it. I guess I’m a little anxious about the next phase of this schedule – which is the total review phase. I AM looking forward to it. The chapter on IPv6 is the last chapter on Wendell Odom’s ICND2 book. I hoped to finish it yesterday but I just didn’t have enough motivation to study after coming back from my friend’s graduation celebration (he just graduated from Med school).

Had a good time at the party though. Some of us long time buddies from college were there. We just hung out and watched some of our kids run around. We talked about the ones just getting married; talked about new homes, new cars, new bikes, new lives, etc. Just good ‘ole fashion reminiscing.

Well now it’s time to get back on the horse again and keep moving. Today is the first day of the new month – the day I was supposed to start the review. But like I said, I’m still stuck on IPv6. The introductory stuff is pretty easy. A lot of new concepts but nothing that requires a lot of critical thinking. Not yet at least. It’s a lot understanding the fundamental concepts of the new structure.

Well, I guess I’ll finish it off right now. I only have a few more pages and notes to take. Then on to my basketball league game in an hour.
